Makin’ Waves Music Festival

From their home at Wentworth Park’s iconic bandshell in the heart of Sydney, Makin’ Waves combines a wonderful community atmosphere with the rich musical tradition of the park. Join residents and visitors alike on Thursday evenings starting July 4th for five free concerts featuring world class musicians from across Canada including Juno award winners Wintersleep and Joel Plaskett Emergency, East Coast favorites Port Cities, Slowcoaster, and Dave Sampson, and T Thomason of CTV’s The Launch.

July 4 – Wintersleep with Fire Valley Fire
July 11 – Slowcoaster with Jah’mila + Emma Stevens
July 18 – Joel Plaskett Emergency with T. Thomason
July 25 – Dave Sampson with Mimi O’Bonsawin
August 1 – Port Cities with Rachel Beck & the Atlantic String Machine
