Mabel and Alec – Their Lives Through Letters

The young Alexander Graham Bell wrote to his fiancé Mabel Hubbard on the night of their engagement: “I am afraid to fall asleep, lest I should find it all a dream – so I shall lie awake and think of you.”

Launch of “Mabel and Alec – Their Lives Through Letters” Exhibit. A new exhibit featuring the letters of Alexander and Mabel to each other will officially open on July 11, on their 145th wedding anniversary, at the Alexander Graham Bell Historic Site. Read a love story like no other as you dive into the story of the famous inventor and the woman who helped turn his dreams into reality.
