Back Downtown, the Lumière Arts Festival presents contemporary art in unconventional spaces. The festival kicks off at the YMCA (6:59pm) with the Lumiere Lantern Parade, lead this year by Painted Dance Company! Meet you on the streets for arts annual big night out! Lumière is a free, accessible, contemporary arts festival taking place in Unama’ki-Cape Breton. The festival showcases public installations and presentations of art, films and video, as well as educational programming. Join this unique celebration of art, culture and community spirit!
