Once upon a time, there was a village not too far from here, a village filed with courage, that fought as long as it could. The history books only speak of the Acadian Deportation of 1755 and not this story of the Acadians uprooted to create the Cape Breton Highlands National Park on the world famous Cabot Trail. Here is their story.
