When you come to Cape Breton hiking is something that everyone has to do! There are hikes for every age and every ability.
There are so many hiking trails with phenomenal views in Cape Breton that it’s difficult to narrow it down to 5.
While COVID-19 has certainly limited our ability to get out and travel, we can still wander digitally. We've compiled a group of amazing locations that you can virtually explore in the safety of your own home.
When we think of waterfalls, the image that comes to our mind is tropical pools, cascading water, peace and calmness. But come winter, these waterfalls turn into a completely different scene. We have rounded up our favourite winter waterfalls.
Cape Breton is filled with incredible natural places. It's home to meandering rivers, rolling hills, cascading waterfalls and scenic lakes. These locations are beautiful in every season but they really shine in the fall.
Looking to visit some super epic waterfalls this summer as part of your safe escape to Cape Breton? Well we’ve got just the five for you to explore.
We all need some motivation to leave the house, put our boots on and hit the trails. Some do it to stay in shape, some do it to meet fellow hikers and some do it just to reconnect with Mother Nature.
One of our favourite parts of this hike is the sound of the river beside you as you wander through the forest and see the stunning mountains of the Highlands around you.
