On Friday, November 25, from 10:00am-4:00pm the Cape Breton University Art Gallery will be holding its annual craft market Handmade Holiday located in the CBU Great Hall.
The Handmade Holiday market attracts students, faculty, staff and members of the broader community for an afternoon of complimentary entertainment & treats, and a festive holiday shopping experience.
Approximately 20 vendors will be selling a variety of handmade, artisan wares including jewelry, ceramics, textile items, knitted hats and scarves, fudge and chocolates, hand painted greeting cards, and much more.
There will be a raffle on a basket filled with goodies from each of the vendor tables with a total value of $400. Also, a silent auction will be held on an array of festive wreathes decorated by faculty and students.
A full day of live scheduled musical performances will be showcased at the centre of the market. All of the proceeds from this year’s Handmade Holiday will go towards a local charity, Loaves and Fishes.
