The Barn Music and Theatre Society of Margaree will be holding our Fiddle & Folk Foliage Farewell, a 3-day all-ages music festival from Oct. 21 to 23.
Thurs. Oct.21. Fiddler Gillian Head with piano wizard Jason Roach. Gillian was an ECMA Nominee in 2019 for Instrumental Recording of the Year. Jason’s bio for the Celtic Colours International Festival rates him as: “one of the most impressive piano players you will ever hear.”
Fri.,Oct.22. Elizabeth MacInnis on Fiddle and Mary Elizabeth MacInnis on Piano. Elizabeth is one of Cape Breton’s finest young fiddlers. Mary Elizabeth often played piano with her father, legendary fiddler, Buddy MacMaster
Sat. Oct.23. Singer-Songwriter Neil McDaniel on Guitar, Vocals, Tin Whistles, Mandolin and Celtic Pian. Neil, from Margaree Forks, has performed frequently at the Keltic Lodge, Glenora Distillery and the iconic Red Shoe Pub in Mabou.
