The Cape Breton Winter Jazz Series, presented by the Cape Breton Jazz Festival, will present more than 30 high quality jazz shows during January, February, and March 2022.
The shows will be held most Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays during the months of January, February, and March. Check the website capebretonjazzfestival.com for updated program information. The list of musicians playing will also be available on capebretonjazzfestival.com.
Many of Cape Breton’s, Atlantic Canada’s, and Canada’s top jazz musicians will be participating in the shows. Food and beverage service will be available. The events are family friendly. On most shows there is no admission charge, although donations will be accepted at the door. Most of the shows will present traditional jazz involving the playing of the tunes from the classic jazz era. Many of the shows will highlight vocal performances while others will be instrumental performances.
