The Cape Breton Fiddlers Marathon is a two day running/ race event.
Day one features a healthy living wellness expo and bib/ swag bag pickup for all racers, volunteers and spectators. Day two includes a 5k, 10k, half marathon (21.1k) and full marathon (42.2k) race event. The full marathon is a Boston Marathon qualifier race. This year, as it’s the 20th anniversary of the event, we will also be hosting an after party for all runners. The event has attracted up to 1000 runners, plus volunteers and spectators. It is the largest running event in Cape Breton each year and attracts runners from outside Cape Breton and Nova Scotia.
