The Anything That Floats Race is an annual community event that takes place on the Margaree River during the first weekend of August. The "race" encourages locals and the not-so-local to come out and enjoy the splendor of the Margaree River in the summer. For more than 25 years, people have been making their way down the river in a variety of boats, rafts, tubes, and inflatable furniture. The event is broken down into 2 categories: 1) canoes and kayaks; 2) anything else.
