Hike Nova Scotia’s Intro to Hiking webinar is geared for new and novice hikers, as well as experienced hikers looking for a refresher. It will take at 7 pm on September 23, October 20, and November 18. This one-hour “taster” session covers how to prepare for a hike and hiking best practices. It includes:

The presenter is Janet Barlow, Hike NS’s Executive Director, and life-long hiker.
The webinar is supported by the NS Department of Communities, Culture and Heritage.
Registration is required at least 2 hours in advance. It is free for Hike NS paid members and $20 for non-members (who then receive a free one-year individual membership). There is a limited number of spots available.
