58th Annual Mabou Ceilidh Days Festival: Thursday

For more than half a century, Mabou has been buzzing with excitement every July as we host our beloved annual tradition. It’s a time for all ages to come together, enjoy the festivities, and support our community’s vital organizations. So join us this summer for some good old-fashioned fun!

Thursday, June 26

Lorgan Nam Bàrd: In the Footsteps of the Bards Meet at the West Mabou Trailhead to visit the homesteads of Mabou’s Gaelic Bards. Wear sturdy walking shoes and appropriate clothing. Some transportation (side by sides/quad bikes) will be available, for those with accessibility concerns, in order to get to the sites. Information, songs, and stories about the bards will be made available. Presented in partnership with the Mabou Gaelic and Historical Society.

Step Back in Time with horse and wagon rides through historic Mabou.

6-8pm | $10

Junior Jam Black Light Pre-Teen Dance for Grades 4-6 at the Mabou Arena.

6-8pm | $10

Soc-Hop Black Light Teen Dance for Grades 7-9 at the Mabou Arena.

8-10pm | $10 

Black Light Teen Dance for Grades 10-12 at the Mabou Arena. Doors close at 10:30pm. Presented in partnership with the Mabou Athletic Centre 
10pm-12am | $10
