We dedicate this year’s events to the memory of Jim Watson in honor of his support and commitment to the Féis. Jim was a guiding force in our development and recognized the Gaelic identity of our community. His enthusiasm and energy for the preservation of Gaelic language and culture here and throughout the Gaelic world is greatly missed. With affection and respect, we place a stone on his cairn.
Coisrigidh sinn na Cuirmean-Ciùil Gàidhlig agus an FhéisBhliadhnail mar chuimhneachan air Seumas MacBhatair a thoirt urram dha airson na taice a thug e do Chomunn Féis an Eilein. Bha Seumas na neart stiùridh ann an leasachadh na Féise. Dh’aithnich e dearbh-aithne na coimhearsnachd againn agus dh’obraich e leis a’ Chomunn airson na dearbh-aithne sin àrachadh agus a neartachadh fad deich bliadhna fichead. Bithidh saoghal nan Gàidheal ag ionndrainn a lùthas agus a dhìorras dhan chànain agus dhan dualchas nan Gàidheal. Le meas is miadh, Cuiridh sinn clach air a chàrn.
