Situated in historic Baddeck, The Waters Edge overlooks the picture-perfect harbor and stunning vista of the Bras dOr Lakes. We provide a truly unique combination of luxurious accommodation as well as an art gallery exhibiting original creations of over 100 maritime fine artists and designer craftsmen. A unique collection of fine art, folk art, pottery, jewelry, weaving, and fabric arts; works by over 100 fine artists and designer craftspeople of the Maritimes. Gallery located in a historic waterfront building.
Baddeck serves as the beginning and the end of the world-famous Cabot Trail and is a short hour-long drive from the Fortress Louisbourg National Historic Site. Take a sailing trip on the Bras dOr Lakes, golf at Bell Bay Golf Course, visit the amazing Alexander Graham Bell Museum, or take a scenic drive along the lake. Let us make suggestions for some of the more hidden treasures of the area.
Our accommodations include seven units: six spacious air-conditioned rooms (Queen-sized bed, King-sized bed; two units with cathedral ceiling and ceiling fan) with ensuite 3-piece or 4-piece bath, cable television, a DVD player and a telephone; one efficiency apartment (Queen-sized bed, sofa-bed; sleeps four) with 3-piece bath (Shower), cable television, and a DVD player. We are located on the waterfront in the heart of town. Guests can enjoy private waterfront beach access. No pets, please. Check-in is at 7 p.m. All major credit cards are accepted.
