The story begins by leaving your shoes, cares and worries behind on a wharf in the village of Baddeck, and stepping onto the Cape Bretoner 1, a 42 ft luxury catamaran that is so grand, steady and smooth youll soon forget you are sailing on a body of water that is as deep as the mountains are high.
Captain Paul and Bosun Brianne will greet you dockside at the Inverary Resort in Baddeck. Step aboard the 42-foot dual hulled catamaran and immediately feel at ease in the spacious canopied outdoor space, ample deck areas for sitting or standing, or stretch out on the signature netted hammocks where the sounds of the sea surround you. Inside, guests will be delighted with the generous dining/social space, two heads, and a gorgeous galley where the crew will prepare meals and snacks. Guests are accommodated in the 3 clean & comfortable double occupancy berths.
Wish upon a thousand stars! Discover why early French settlers used stars under the blackened Atlantic night sky to navigate through waters!
Pink and mauve sunsets prevail over the mountains and give way to a clear, unpolluted black night sky. As your eyes adjust to the dark and your senses gradually heighten, be serenaded by an orchestra of peepers, loons and bullfrogs. Cozy up under a blanket and relax on top of the netted trampoline between the dual hulls and watch the stars dance a jig!
Overnight in charming uninhabited coves and wake up in the arms of Mother Nature-not people or other boats!

The Gaels celebrated their culture not in huge buildings or sculptures but in their songs. Their songs told the stories of the people, the land, good times and bad, love's lost and yearned for.
There’s nothing better than watching two musicians who just love playing music together.
As a songwriter, I’ve often described my creative process as though I have tuned into an invisible radio frequency.
