Farmers markets come in many shapes and sizes, and the Port Hawkesbury Community Market is no exception. Our vendors bring to the table a variety of products ranging from plants, baked goods, manure, eggs, and artisan products.
The goal of the Port Hawkesbury Community Market to give consumers in the Strait Area an opportunity to interact directly with those who take an active role in producing the items they sell. We aim to market products grown, made, or finished locally, including locally grown vegetables, locally raised chicken, locally caught lobster, locally made breads, cheeses, crafts, etc. The Port Hawkesbury Community Market emphasizes farm products and food but welcomes arts and crafts from local producers as well.
