Set in the beautiful Cape Breton Highlands and centrally located at the halfway point on the Cabot Trail, Country Haven Bed and Breakfast is the perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy your vacation. Two or more days are recommended to truly experience the everything that the region of Cape Breton Island has to offer.
Recall your day’s adventure, learn our local history or curl up by the fireplace with your favourite book in the comfortable sitting room. After a peaceful night’s rest, you will awaken to the aroma of freshly-brewed coffee before you begin your Cape Breton expedition.
Things to try in the area include:
– The North Highlands Community Museum – contains interpretive exhibits illustrating the way of life experienced by the early settlers of the region.
– Beulach Ban Falls – the reward the awaits you after a five-kilometer hike through a refreshing commune of nature.
– Highlands Links Golf Course provides a challenging diversion for the athletic spirit.
Our accommodations include two rooms featuring queen-sized beds with either an ensuite 3-piece (shower) or 4-piece bath, ceiling fans, satellite television, and Wi-Fi. Non-smoking only. A full country breakfast is served between 8 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.
Our ranch-style home is furnished with oak floors, a lounge with a fireplace, and a library of books. A patio and a screened-in sunroom are available. We also provide secure bicycle storage.
