Explore the Bras dOr Lake Biosphere
Youll board at our private dock adjacent to the St. Peters Canal National Historic Site. Here, North Americas oldest operating tidal lock connects the Atlantic Ocean with the iconic Bras dOr Lake, one of Canadas amazing UNESCO Biospheres. Learn about the 10,000 year history of this important transportation hub that served the Mikmaq and their ancestors as a portage and meeting place. Sail the local waters like our early European explorers and settlers.
Brush up on your old sailing skills or take a beginners lesson as we head out on island studded St. Peters inlet to the lake. No Rush II is a 35 blue-water cruising yacht that is safe, comfortable, and a joy for veteran or newbie sailors to command. Anchor in a quiet cover for lunch and a swim. Then back to the sea for some more fun in the wind and waves.
Sailing is the perfect green maritime adventure experience lots of fresh air, close encounters with marine and bird life, pristine waters and shorelines; hear stories and music from our local cultures.
Our season for 2023 runs from June 17 to October 1. Tours are offered 7 days a week. Catering available and overnight stays can also be arranged.
