Experience Cape Breton from the water! Join Captain Greg for a unique sailing adventure on Canada’s largest inland sea, the Bras d’Or Lake, up-close to the natural wonders at sea and along the shore.

Private Sailing Charters:

With captain, for your group of up to 6 people. Half-day, full-day and multi-day charters. Offered 7 days a week. Catering available.

Sunset Charters:

Enjoy a private cruise with your party of up to 6 people. Departing at 6 pm, this is an ideal way to enjoy the golden hour with a gentle 3-hour evening cruise on St. Peter’s Inlet. Catering available.

Explore more of the Bras d’Or:

Multi-day/multi-port sailing packages with stay-ashore accommodations overnight are arranged to suit your interests and schedule.

You’ll board at our private dock adjacent to the St. Peter’s Canal National Historic Site. Here, North America’s oldest operating tidal lock connects the Atlantic Ocean with the iconic Bras d’Or Lake, one of Canada’s newest UNESCO Biospheres. Learn about the 10,000-year history of this important transportation hub that served the Mi’kmaq and their ancestors as a portage and meeting place. Sail the local waters like our earliest explorers and settlers.

Brush up on your old sailing skills or take a beginner’s lesson. This year we offer No Rush II, an offshore-capable 35′ cruising yacht that is safe, comfortable and a boat that beginners and seasoned pros will enjoy commanding. Anchor in a quiet cove for lunch and a swim. Then, back to the sea for some more fun with your new sailing skills.

This is the “original green maritime adventure experience”: lots of fresh air, close encounters with marine and bird life, pristine salt water and shorelines; hear stories and music from our local cultures. Half-day (3 hours) and full-day (6 hours) private charters are tailored to suit your interests. Offered from June 20 through October 4 in 2020.
