Is your snowmobiling crew looking for new terrain to explore this winter? Try staying mountaintop on the SANS 104 trail this winter with your close friends and family. Our eco-friendly off-grid base camp is in the southern Cape Breton Highlands. With groomed trails at your doorstep – you’ll spend less time travelling to the trails, and more time riding them! Discover the picturesque hills and valleys of Lake Ainslie for some of the prettiest riding. Then head out in the other direction to Campbell’s Mountain, River Denys, and Glencoe, or over to the coast in Mabou, Port Hood, Judique, or Inverness. The next day, head over Lewis Mountain, to Baddeck, or meander over and cross the Margaree Valley on your way up to Cape Clear – these are all options for you from our central location. When you are ready to kick back and relax, gather round in the evening at Canada’s off-grid pub with the wood stove to welcome you back at Iron Mountain Lodge.
