Discover a place where art and music just happens
- everyday.
There is music in these hills - and art, artists and artisans at every bend of the road.
If your ear leans toward all things Celtic, welcome to an Island that sings your song. You’ll find tartan in its fullest bloom at our Celtic Colours International Festival. Over nine days, musicians, dancers and artists from around the globe land on the Island to collaborate with our own world-famous talent. And not to worry if the Festival doesn’t coincide with your visit – there is music and dance to be found everywhere here – at all times day or night.
Many who come for the music, discover our Island is also a vast art gallery. Well-recognized fine-artists, talented artisans, traditional crafters and unique folk artists - all dot the Island. Be sure to take time to ask them about their creations.
If you’re not sure which way to turn next when you visit – try using our music as your GPS.
