About the Captain
Captain Richard Ellerbrok is an accomplished sailor with over 30 years of experience sailing lakes and blue water, 25 of which as captain.The majority of his sailing experience includes the waters of the Bras D’or Lakes, Cape Breton, and on the Atlantic coast, from the Gulf of St Lawrence to the Bay of Fundy. He has crewed on corporate chartered flotillas in Bermuda. Rick completed his 50-ton license in 1986.
About the Boat
The Dufour 41 is a seaworthy, fast, strong, and comfortable cruising yacht. Her elegant design with a low profile coach roof and easy walk-through deck layout make for a very attractive yacht.The three-cabin layout is practical for family use or sailing with friends during weekends or longer vacations.Our Dufour 41 Classic "Grand Cruiser" Plus is built by Dufour Yachts in France. She sleeps six in three double cabins and has a spacious saloon with seating surrounding a central mahogany table. Upholstered in blue Alcantara. Large linear galley. Her large cockpit, with solid teak, trimmed seats and sole, and two large storage lockers under bench seating leads to a bathing platform with a swim ladder and deck shower.
